The Canadian WordPress Community

This is the gateway to the central community networking and organizing hub for the Canadian WordPress community at wp-ca.slack.com. Join us!

The WordPress Canada Slack group is mostly about connecting the Canadian WordPress community and helping each other with WordPress-related problems and questions, following the Five Good Faith Rules of the global WordPress Community.

It’s also a great place to share news, look for jobs, post job listings, and help support local WordPress Meetups and WordCamps — including the annual WordCamp Canada (WCEH). Everyone is welcome!

👉 There’s also a WordPress Canada Facebook Group.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is Slack?

Slack is a workplace communication tool, “a single place for messaging, tools and files.” This means Slack is an instant messaging system with lots of add-ins for other workplace tools. The add-ins aren’t necessary to use Slack, though, because the main functionality is all about talking to other people. There are two methods of chat in Slack: channels (group chat), and direct message or DM (person-to-person chat). Learn more at How-to Geek.
